Is the Pramac P3500i Easy to Start and Use?

You bet it is – with electric key start and recoil start (pull start is smooth and silky). On a well-maintained unit it starts first turn of the key every time.

There are two 13A socket, 2 USB ports and parallel connectivity ports to connect to another P3500i generator. Also, this unit uses Pramac’s POWERRUSH™ – this gives you more starting capacity to meet the needs of high-demand tools and appliances. Fuel consumption can be minimised by the implementation of Eco Mode on the P3500i. Simply select Eco Mode and the generator will lower its revs to increases fuel efficiency and also extends the lifespan of the unit.

What Happens If I Do Not Use My Generator for Long Periods?

As with all petrol engines, if you are planning to store your generator for a long period its ‘best practice’ to either drain the fuel tank then run the generator until it stops. This will prevent any unused fuel congealing and clogging the carburettor. Or to stop the fuel from going off use a petrol additive. Remember, stale fuel can stop your generator from starting when you need it
