Enhanced performance in shaded conditions with integrated junction box diodes
The FMCS-440M features a junction box equipped with three bypass diodes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in various conditions. The integrated diodes mitigate the risk of hot spots caused by shaded or damaged cells, protecting the panel from potential long-term damage. By allowing the panel to continue generating electricity efficiently, even when partially shaded, the diodes enhance total energy production. The panel is fitted with 0.3m of 4.0mm² solar cable which can work at high roof temperatures, with minimum power losses. A pair of male / female MC4 connectors are crimped on the end of cable for easy connection to other solar panels, your existing system or 4.0mm² extension cable. The MC4 connectors can also be cut off when wiring to the screw terminals of a solar charge controller.
