Powerful 9.8kVA Petrol Generator

The JCB-G8000PE petrol site generator from JCB produces an impressive max output of 7.9kW / 9.8kVA* using the market leading 15hp 457cc JCB petrol engine. This sturdy and robust generator can produce a continuous output of 7.5W / 9.4kVA, making it suitable for the majority of construction site, farm or workshop applications, running power tools or equipment such as grinders, saws, compressors, welders , lighting etc. Equipped with both electric key start and pull recoil start.

JCB Tools AVR Alternator

An AVR, or Automatic Voltage Regulator ensures the output from this generator is always smooth, suitable for handling sensitive equipment such as powering laptops or charging devices. Our AVR petrol generators are Made For Hard Work and can also handle rugged power tools such as SDS drills, breakers or other power tools (providing the wattage requirement is below the output of the generator. Petrol-Powered Generator

This 4-Stroke petrol generator doesn’t require any messy mixing of fuel and oil like some smaller two stroke engines and thanks to it being Euro V efficient, the generator offers a fantastic run time of over 8 hours at 50% load – avoiding any interruptions to your work. The JCB-G8000PE has a 25 Litre fuel tank.

Please note that when storing your generator for a long period of time, we recommend you either run the engine dry of fuel, drain any leftover fuel or use a fuel additive to prevent the petrol from ‘going off’ whilst sitting in the generator. Modern unleaded petrol, when left for long periods can congeal and clog the carburettor which can cause problems starting your generator in the future.

Note that petrol generators must never be used inside due to risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. 

*Generator kVA Ratings

All of our generators have a kVA rating that is higher than the kW. This is because we have assumed the appliances you are going to power have a load factor/power factor of 0.8 – therefore the ‘assumed’ kVA rating of the load would be higher. This is industry standard and it is usually best to scope the right unit based on the kW.
