Description
The HYMIG-350GDL is a heavy duty and incredibly versatile 4 roller wire feed welder from Hyundai designed for the professional user. This powerful combination welder is ideal for a multitude of welding situations allowing you to MMA, TIG & MIG weld and proves itself with its universal applications and high-quality welds with a low error rate.
Weighing 42.2kg, the HYMIG-350GDL 3 phase welder is easy to transport thanks to its mounted handles on the heavy duty steel case with powder coated finish for extra corrosion resistance and trolley wheels with full size gas bottle holder at rear. Accessories include MIG Euro welding torch with 3m cable, earth clamp with 2.5m cable.
Featuring a LCD display that allows you to choose between MIG, TIG & MMA settings this professional welder has an automatic, or Synergy functionality where you can select the basic welding parameters such as the type of material, thickness of material to be welded and the diameter of the welding wire and the machine will set the output current, and wire speed to match. This is ideal for new welders as it removes the trial and error which normally comes with setting up each different welding job.
With a duty cycle of 60 percent, the welding current has a maximum power of 250A. If you turn the power down to 200A, then you can weld without interruption. The clearly arranged control panel with LED display gives you maximum control over the required welding parameters and is also easy to use while wearing welding gloves. You can freely adjust the amperage and the voltage (MIG), specify the inductance or choose the welding process you require.
Buyer Notice: Beware of lower quality models by always checking the ‘Duty Cycle’. Duty cycle is the amount of time, within a 10 minute period the welder can be used, on a given output. For example, A 200A welder has a duty cycle of 60% when used on 200A output (MIG). This means it can be used for six minutes in any ten minute period.
Featuring a stepless regulator for infinite variable control of the welding current with a low current facility for effective welding of thinner materials. The welding (output) current of the HYMIG-350GDL can be regulated within the range of 40-350 Ampere making the HYMIG-350GDL adjustable to suit welding different materials and thicknesses of steel.
Cheaper, lower quality welders claim to be a certain amperage output, but can have a very low duty cycle on the output they have claimed. Always check the duty cycle to ensure you are getting the best value for money.
Fitted with thermal overload protection to ensure maximum durability. Suitable for welding steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel, titanium and their alloys.
The HYMIG-350GDL is a professional inverter welder perfect for welding with applicable wire sizes of 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2mm. The HYMIG-350GDL features high frequency starts allowing for smooth arc strikes.
With low service and maintenance requirements, the HYMIG-350GDL is incredibly easy to use and maintain, and has full HYUNDAI UK parts back up.
In The Box: HYMIG-350GDL Welder, MIG Welding Torch with 3m Cable, Earth Clamp with 2.5m Cable, Gas Regulator, MIG Tips & Spanner, Spare Torch Liner, Wire Driving Wheels, Hose Clamps & User Manual.
Know Your Welder:
(MMA) Manual Metal Arc – Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA) or (MMAW) Manual Metal Arc Welding is flux shielded arc welding or informally known as stick welding, is a manual arc welding process that uses a consumable electrode covered with a flux to lay the weld.
(TIG) Tungsten Inert Gas – Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TIG) or (GTAW) Gas Tungsten Arc Welding is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld and a filler rod to produce the fillet.
(MIG) Metal Inert Gas – Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG), (GMAW) Gas Metal Arc Welding or (MAG) Metal Active Gas is a welding process in which an electric arc forms between a consumable wire electrode and the workpiece metal(s), which heats the workpiece metal(s), causing them to melt and join.
Covered by Hyundai UK 2 Year Warranty.
