The HY2177 is a cordless impact driver from Hyundai’s brand new 20v MAX range, designed for inserting or removing large screws from tough surfaces.

Featuring our interchangeable 2.0Ah lithium-ion battery, this impact driver is compact at just 15.5cm in length, allowing you to get into the most awkward nooks and crannies to remove or drive screws with ease.

Weighing just 1.2kg and fitted with a soft grip handle to provide all-around comfort, this cordless impact driver is comfortable to use at all angles. It even comes with 3 in-built LED lights, making working in low-light or confined areas even easier.

What is an Impact Driver?

Where drill drivers can be used for both drilling holes and inserting/removing screws, impact drivers just have one main purpose which is driving larger screws quickly and efficiently.

Impact drivers are able to produce more torque than standard drills, which makes them capable of inserting even the largest screws very quickly. Due to the pattern in which they engage screws, impact drivers are able to insert screws more effectively than drills.

This battery impact driver is powered by a 20v MAX lithium-ion 2Ah battery which charges from flat to full in just 70 minutes.

With an average battery runtime of 15-40 minutes (depending on working conditions), you’ll have more than enough time to complete a range of tasks from just one charge. However, if you’re using the driver for larger home projects or for your business, you have the option to purchase an additional battery – or shop for other tools from our 20v collection – to save you waiting between charges.

This unit includes a 20v MAX battery – which has an indicator light to show you how much battery is remaining – and a charger.
